We first met the owner of Oscar in London back in 2021, and since then we have been partnered ever since, helping guide the brand visually to it’s success.
Photography direction, Social media posts, website design, clothing design, you name it, we’ve been there for Opened.
Since then, we have helped launch T-shirts, jumpers, hoodies, jeans, shorts, beanies, and more… take a look into how this has come around and some of the specifics.
They had already dropped a tracksuit line previously, but they were no longer happy with the placement of the logos, how the logos looked on the peice, and the fit of the tracksuit overall, we changed that. We removed the zip, removed the word mark, and just kept the logo, and positioned it accordingly
Next up was some beanies, something tha you can chuck with every fit, and something more impoartantly that sells more than any other product due to it’s price.
We got to work, following the streetwear wave at the time of release this style of hat was super popular. To keep the streetwear consitstency we went for a graffiti stylised version of the logo spread across the front half of the hat, it screamed the brand, and the graphic covering the whole beanie looked dope.
To then spice things up, we made the beanie reversable, not onlt with a different graphic, but with opposite colours… double diversity.
For this drop we wanted to stray from the usual designs, since the beggining all Opened apparel was centred around the logo, that was always the hit peice, however that changed for this peice.
They wanted something that not only resonated with opened itself, but something that the opened family would also resonate with… and that was when “start before you know how” came around. It’s a short quote, that needs to be said more, with procrastination being at an all time high, and dreams staying dreams.
So that’s why we slapped it on a sweater, with a camo pattern rather than a solid colour… this peice broke something in the opened wardrobe.
